Mini concerts, warm-up for the tour

Inchi will be doing two minor shows before the tour, one at Amplifier 31. of May, and another at Hard Rock Cafe the 5. of June, both in Oslo. They will be small teaser concerts, and the age limit will be 20 years on both.
Tour of Norway

Inchi will be touring Norway after We're All Tired of Dying hits the stores in June. June 7th we will be playing at Garage in Bergen, June 8th at Samsen (free age!) and Hold Kjeft! in Kristiansand, and wrapping it up at John Dee in Oslo 9th of June. Be there!!

This week Kill Your Idol started heavy rotation on Norway's ZTV. The video will be featured on 3 separate shows, Betong, Norsk Lyd and Ukas Fersking.
The video is recorded in Vennesla and Kristiansand, and directed by Dan Korneli from Evan Seleven.
New album done!

Last friday Tara put the finishing touches on on the upcoming Inchi album, and finally, one and a half year after the recording started, the album got out of Jailhouse Studio and is now in Sweden for mastering!
Tara has by the way made music to the new NRK (national broadcasting) series "Størst av alt" and even taught the one of the main characters how to play lyre!

D joined Clawfinger on guestvocals on their two concerts in Norway last week. Clawfinger have not played in Norway for eight years, so it was a real blast to see them live again. Straight out of Vennesla

This week gonna be a busy one for Inchi ! On Thursday our friends from United Underworld ( FI) and Parhelia (IE) are coming over for the Straight Out Of Vennesla Festival, and Thursday night they will play acustic with Inchi at Pakkhuset in Farsund.
Friday noon Inchi will do a School gig at Kvaderaturen VGS with United Underworld. At the same time Parhelia will do a show on Vennesla VGS. Before Parhelia enter the school they will do a couple of songs + interview for Tv Sør ( www.tvsor.no ) , D will also be there talking bouth the festival. All this will be sent on Saturday morning ( 29.april 1000 ( Morrakvisten v/ Cheryl Mcdonald ).
On Friday night Inchi Play at Østsia ( www.ostsia.no ) with El Caco and many other cool bands, the day after they will se they soulmates Relationship Of Command perform ! Wow,spring is here! Last week Inchi shot their first music video. Big thanx to everyone who helped us out. Dan Korneli, director of the movie, camera dude Sveinung who came all the way from Oslo, make up girl Kristine who almost made us pretty, our new light enginer Paal, crew member David, The orignal Inchi drummer Nese, David and the other crew members, and of course The main actor, Kristine and her way cool mum ! Thanks !!!

SEASONS IN THE SUN

Wow, were already in the middle of March, time is running fast. What happened the last two months… Hmm… let me see, D was involved in a heavy car crash and would like to tell all Inchi heads to buckle up whenever you are in a car. And if you’re thinking of buying one -Choose Volvo!
In the end of January we had another gig in Aalborg at the Winterfestival. That’s was cool. We went to the Kling Klang studio in Aalborg as well, mixing some tracks that Jacob recorded last time we played there. The day after we had a gig in Vennesla. Thanks to all the people that showed up! Also many thanks to the cute owner with the gentle voice…
In the beginning of March we played a surprise gig at Hjørnet, in support for Craptv.net. This was the last gig Roger did with Inchi. He has now left the band. Jon and D did also play at a theatre performance at Samsen last week (Kris was making the Ice Cream).
The new Inchi album is beginning to take form. Now it’s only samples, piano and some guest vocals left, before it will be mixed. And how does it sound? It sounds KILLER!

Thanks to all of you that showed up at our gigs this month. We especially salute Jacob and Martin who did the live recording for us at Fedebrød (Ålborg, DK). Also a big hand to Knoll & Tott, from the hard working Vennesla band Scornbath, for giving all of us a blowjob.
D and Jon are very sorry to have abused the gear for the last month, instead of just letting it collect dust… This is a coded message who goes to those who can decode it.
THE NEW DRUMMER (PART V)

Inchi are consuming drummers with the same speed as America is consuming Oil.
John Erik Bokn (Sleiken) is a trained professional with his origins from the small industry village of Sauda. Though his drumming skills is superb, his social skills is a challenge for us all. But after our concerts in DK, Farsund and KRS the conclusion is that we and our fans embrace the man with love, and accept him as a true Inchi trainee.

Sorry for not updating recently. First of all, thanx to Amulet and everybody that showed up at gig at Østsia.. we are still wondring if it hurts...
Its no longer a well kept secret that we have been in Jailhouse Studio working on a new album the last months.. Fedrelandsvennen visited us and put us on the frontpage last friday. We are working on ten new songs that we hope to release spring 2006.
As Grieg got this letter from the military telling him that they dident want him anyway, we are no longer in need of a new drummer.. But thanx to everybody that showed interess.
The anually Christmas party was a great sucsess, exept my neighboors are missing some Santa clauses... anybody seen them ?

Inchi are planning some extensive touring in Denmark, Sweden and Ireland. More details soon to be released.
Friday the 21.th of October, we will do a gig in KRS with our friends in Vennesla's ultimate extreme metal band; Second Shadow. The concert will take place in "The Murder House". Follow signs... Inchi will play previously unexposed material.

HEAVY RADIO ROTATION

Inchi is this week, and last week present on the hotlist of "Urørt" at NRK P3. Tracks from "A New Departure" is also frequently played on the metal show "Pyro" at the same station.
The coming Wedensday, 26. January (20.00-21.00) Inchi enter the studio at the local radio station Radio Ung at FM 106,9 and internet.
For one hour Inchi will play their favorit music on the "Radio Tung" show and talk about the band and the music that has been influential for them over the years.

Inchi in the News!

Inchi was on the news on the local tv station (TV SØR) Friday 8.th of October. A camera team showed up on the Inchi rehearsal, they picked some good lines from Inchi and got some exellent footage, viewed on TV SØR same night.
